Offset Printing
Offset printing remains the best way to print large quantities. This process is incredibly flexible, on all kinds of stocks, to ​create all sorts of products from newspapers to magazines and packaging to business cards. Offset printing is both fast and consistent meaning you can do long runs with invariable, high quality results.
FEATURES OF THIS PROCESS
- Suited to medium and large runs due to set up time and cost
- Works on a wide variety of stocks and products
- Offset gives you much more flexibility to choose heavier stocks and stock with texture
- Offset is printing with printer’s inks using a ‘blanket’ to apply the ink to the page.
- You can print one colour or many colours at the same time.
- As with digital printing you can print using CMYK colours but you can also use custom ‘spot’ or Pantone colours to give you much better results
- Can do gold and silver inks
- Gives you an extremely accurate position which can be very important if you are adding foil or other embellishments which need to line up precisely on the page
